A extraordinary quality and a quantity bigger than necesary for the vintage year 2009. This result was not foreseen because there was lot of rainy period during spring and summer begining. The winter of 2009 rest in annals, not for its very low temperatures, but for its longevity. Spring was cold and dull. Also, we believed that vinetage would have not a good quality. The bad wheather and its derangements was really long in Givry.

But, about 20th July, after the sky tears, sun began to shine as a light cristal. Summer was arrived. Sun has shone almost all the summer excepting some rainy days. This rain was refreshing to the earth and avoid dryness. In August, Grapes became very beautiful thanks to the sun energy.

When the grape harvest arrived, grapes had a perfect maturity. The sugar was sweet and silky thanks to this greatful warm summer. Its powerful is subjected to great praises. The sun continued to shine during all the grape harvest periode excepting a day : sky wanted the rain to fall. But sun dried up quickly this celestial rain.

After grape harvest, during wine tasting the vinetage year 2009 have been really surprising. Over the years, wine are acrid after wine making. But it is not the case of wine of year 2009. Indeed sweet perfumes emit voluptuous and twirling fineness. This phenomenon it rare at the moment of year.

2005 and 2009 are the best vintage of this decade.
