Louis Deliance arrived in Buet in 1935 with his family and his wife Maria. He practiced mixed farming on more than 60 hectares. His sons Raymond and Marcel have worked together for some years and they finally split up .

Raymond kept his agricultural activities. Marcel, after being an apprentice in Rully, started making sparkling wines.

He got a merchant licence and grew wine bottles marketing. He also made sparkling wines for wine-growers. Little by little, production reached 100,000 bottles.

The vineyard was very small : only 1 hectare in Givry.

His sons, Philippe and Gérard went on producing sparkling wines and, in 1947,  planted a new vineyard. This plantation reached quickly 10 hectares with two appelations ‘’Givry’’ and ‘’Burgundy’’.

Gradually, Crémants replaced sparkling wines. A new generation arrived with Gérard’s sons : Lionel and Julien, and Philippe’s son : Guillaume.

Today, the vineyard spreads for 16 hectares. 8 of them have an appellation ‘’AOC GIVRY’’ and the 8 others have an appellation ‘’AOC Burgundy’’. The Estate is composed of two parts. The first part is for Givry and Burgundy classic wines. The second one is for crémants of Burgundy.

Production reaches 85,000 bottles now : 45,000 wine bottles and 40,000 crémant bottles.
